Care Bears bento

I'm picking up the 80's cartoon character theme again, but tying it in with St Patrick's Day, with a Good Luck Care Bear!

Care Bears were among my favourite cartoons/toys as a kid, along with My Little Pony. I used to have a ceramic pomander of Cheer Bear (the one with the rainbow on his tummy) on my dressing table. I wonder what ever happened to him. I can almost remember the exact smell of the Pot Pourri inside!

Good Luck Bear has a Shamrock on his tummy and seeing as I didn't get to do any shamrocks yesterday because I was rushing around and ran out of time, I thought it would be a good one to do. It was especially nice this evening to have a stress free creative evening playing with the food and cutters. St Patricks Day Bento

Today’s bento is a Leprechaun because tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day! St Patrick’s Day, to me, conjures up images from Irish Folklore, such as shamrocks, greenery, pots of gold at the end of the rainbow, leprechauns and pints of Guinness! In reality, [read more on my Wordpress bento box blog!]

Response to Crafty Tuesday

This is a response to DianeDenmark's Crafty Tuesday ! I love codes, puzzles and code-busting, and this doily secret message reminded me of a way you can send a secret message. I just made one to explain what i mean because this one is difficult to explain verbally or in writing. Pictures required! First you cut a doily using the method on Diane's blog. Then place it over a fresh sheet and write your message in the holes. Then take the doily away and make a random meaningless message on the main sheet. Then only the person with the "doily" can read the secret message.

Can you tell what it says? Mine went slightly wrong but i didn't want to get all perfectionist about it and go back to correct it! I think you can still get the idea from this, I hope ! Answers on the back of a postcard please LOL  :o)
